Die Scheckleser von Welch Allyn sind schneller und konstanter als irgendein anderer MICR (Magnetic-Inc-Character-Recongnition) Leser auf dem Markt. Innerhalb von einer Sekunde werden die Daten des Schecks an das Schecküberprüfungssystem oder den Rechner weitergegeben und zwar mit einer Ersterfassung von 99%.

SCANTEAM® 8400 Bar Code Reader
The SCANTEAM® 8400 product utilizes a magnetic MICR read head and an optical bar code reader assembly which provides a compact integrated motorized MICR/bar code reader product. The product supports the direct connection to a wide variety of PC and teller keyboards or through serial RS-232 Ports. The ST8400 also supports the attachment of integrated or remote magnetic stripe readers and auxiliary RS-232 devices, such as PIN pads or signature capture pads. All ST8400 products contain FLASH memory which allows for easy firmware upgrades in the field without the need to disassemble the product.

The ST8400 operates on a wide input power range and is compatible with hundreds of POS and teller systems through the built-in interface/wedge controller. The ST8400 typically operates from +5 volt or +12 volt power provided by the host teller device and does not require an external power pack or connector blocks.
